ALARM BELLS WERE RINGING IN MY HEAD, HE DID NOT ASK FOR MY BANK DETAILS BUT DID ANSWER MY DATE OF BIRTH QUESTION. HE SAID HE WOULD EMAIL ME WITH MY NEW UPGRADED DEAL. RANG BT STRAIGHT AFTER AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A SCAM!!! ONLY DETAILS I GAVE THE YOUNG BRITISH CALLER WAS MY DATE OF BIRTH :(

Call center: Lady saying she wanted to ask questions about my general household. The line was awful and I couldn't understand what she was asking me. I believe she may have said something about my washing machine, but can't be 100% certain. I put the phone down as she was too hard to understand and the line was very quiet.
This number has been bothering me for a few weeks now and I ve ignored it - Answered it today and it was a company telling me they had been informed I ve been in a car accident that wasn t my fault.. Scam call about appliance insurance renewal when infact I don't have such insurance. Female caller identified herself as Sam and spoke clear English. I let her waffle on to waste her time and she gave me a number to call back on 01273 101448. When I eventually asked why I was being contacted when I don't have such insurance to renew she ended the call abruptly.
