SCAM call. Answered call to a man saying an order had been placed with Amazon for an iPhone 7 & £387 had been debited from my account. As soon as I said I’m going to contact my bank fraud department the man put the phone down.

Hung up just as I answered so I called them back. They are a hearing loss company trying to find people who have suffered loss of hearing from the work they do.

At 09:25 UK time call received from this number (0061749292694) claiming to be from BT. Put phone down. The phone number seems to come from a legitimate engineering company in Queensland Australia.
Hung up as soon as I answered phone
Scam caller pretending to be from VirginMedia support and that your "router has a virus". Others have tweeted that he then tries to get you to download and install software on your PC. VirginMedia deny that the number is linked to their Tech Support and advise that it's a scam.
