Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. I contacted Volkswagen UK (using the form on their website) about a problem with my car that was not sorted under warranty, but should have been. Some time later I received a call from this number and it was VW Customer Care.

Think this is a scam call, asked me to press 1 to speak to adviser.

I tell him not to call me and that I m hanging up. He then calls me back 7x in a row. And then from two other numbers. Harassment!!

Silent call abandoned this Monday morning at 1036. Second call already :( Other searches suggest this might be AO.com trying to sell an extended warranty, unsure, but I ve very careful not to give consent for any marketing and am C/TPS registered.
