Fraud Left a computerised voicemail claiming that my Amazon account had been compromised, and that a refurbished iPhone had been ordered, costing over £300. Message was threatening to close my account if I don’t press 1, to speak to ‘Amazon primes fraud department’. Funnily enough, there’s no order on my account!
A woman called me on my landline using this number claiming to work for microsoft and that my home computer had been hacked. When I stated that I did not have a computer the lady hung up.

Beware. Asian sounding lady claimed to be storing my will and wanted to go through and check for updates. They knew my name and postcode. I hung up and went to our solicitor who said wills are held in their own store and they know nothing about any cold calls.

Was called by 01285 311 018 from Cirencester near Preston. I answered and didn't say anything and waited for the caller to speak but they hung up instantly. I think this is a way of discovering which numbers are genuine numbers and then unscrupulous firms sell the info on to further unscrupulous firms! Better not to answer or you will just receive more calls from unwanted numbers. Instantly blocked the number afterwards.
