Got an automated call saying agents are ready to take the call and to be removed from the dialler to call and talk to them. I have blocked the number.

Silent call, obviously from a call centre by the background noise. Too busy scamming someone else?

Couldn't get to this call when it came, but when I tried to call it back, the number was not recognised. Clearly someone spoofing a number.

Told me he was calling from some fraud department before going on to say that I had unsecured debts and that I needed to tell him where and for what amount these were for. When i told him that he should know this info already if he was legitimate, he said the data protection act restricts him from telling me. Scammers
