Claimed they were informed of our car accident. When I asked for their name or company, they hung up. Calling them back, I was unable to call the caller ID from their call.

They are from Security Watchdog. I have recently been offered a new job and they re doing the background checks. SAFE.
get calls where caller asks me who I am when I tell him hes got the wrong number.Always redials within a minute or two.

"Chris" from a home energy / improvements company. I asked how he got my number. He said it was from a database of people who have made home improvements recently. I advised my home is rented - he hung up! Clearly not a genuine company if they are that rude. Other reverse number websites have listed this as a scam
