Claimed to be from HMRC about my National Insurance number and to say that my number has been involved in fraudulent activity and that they we're suspending my NI number and to press 1 to speak with an officer. I will report this to HMRC and the police action fraud website. If you get any telephone calls or text messages (including messages to say you are owed a tax refund) or ask for personal information they are scams. Had a few calls from this number over the past month. Decided to answer today and a foreign sounding female asked me if I d worked in a noisy factory as they could help me claim compensation for hearing loss! Said no I hadn t and she put the phone down on me. Nuisance call.
