USUAL ANNOYING AUTO OR REAL PERSON SAYING HEARD YOU WAS IN AN ACCIDENT. SCAM RUBBISH AS USUAL. IGNORE AND BLOCK
This morning I received a call from this number purporting to be my bank. It started with a recorded message stating that it had received requests for two payments from my credit card that it believed might be fraudulent. It then asked me to "press 1 to cancel" or to "hold the line to speak to an person." I did the latter but then decided that the number was not a bank number and hung up. I reported the matter to my bank and they confirmed my thoughts that it was a "scam" call
Telemarketer disingenuously attempting a confidence trick by associating themselves with free government energy check requiring appointment at my home address.

When I answered I heard an automatic message: "goodbye". Definitely a scam since people will call back if they have friends or relatives working/studying in London.
