just got 2 text messages after trying to use my card to pay for a transaction with a store declined for no reason. the 1st text said it was RBS and to expect a second text from this number asking to verify transactions just as others on here have said. Deleted it.

Everyone knows not to press any key when requested by a call of this type I hope as a keystroke can authorise payments from your bank account. Just hang up. Don’t call them back either.
