Had a call from 01269 604994, which according to searches here is a scam. It's possible they're using a slightly different No.
Called us trying to get us to “renew” a care plan, and only wanted our bank account details so they could send us renewal details. Claimed that “under GDPR, they could not retain those details”. Said that as soon as they got those details they would call back and verify then send details. Kept trying to “explain”. When told it sounded like a scam, they transferred me to another person. Called himself James Barker, from a company Called Blackfords. Knew my personal e-mail address and my work phone number, knew I subscribed to Money week. Tells me he is trying to sell corporate bonds.
