Call made to an elderly neighbour on 09/02/23 from this phone number (via 1471). Caller claimed to be from a Fraud Dept of a local bank. Possible Scam.
SCAM Foreign accent, call centre background. Purporting to be BT Openreach, telling me mi IP address is Public and should be private, and they will help me fix it. I had a call to say my gas meter engineer was in an accident and had to rearrange for next week. Strangely I had a call from the engineer 15 minutes later to say he was on his way and knew nothing of an accident. I can't help but feel suspicious .
