This number is given as the "customer services" number on a fake eBay email. The email is for a high value item that has supposedly just been purchased on my account and to call customer services if there's an issue. I do not have an eBay account associated with the email address I received the email on. The email doesn't refer to me by name. eBay don't manage orders for sellers, the sellers have to do that themselves. A domestic phone line is not going to be used for customer services for an o
Caller spoke with Indian accent. He called me by a bogus name I had given to a spammer some time ago. He asked me to supply some information about myself (salary, age etc) all of which I happily answered with false information. He then asked consumer type question on "behalf" of UK companies. The caller said I could stop further calls by going to their website www.house-n-home.co.uk. This site has no content and appears to be owned by a person in Colne Lancashire.
