Automated message from "Amazon" informing me about a suspect sale to my account for over £1000. Previous messages were always about my account being cancelled but I reported that number. The scammers are obviously trying to up the fear factor!

Phoned me and hung up. I phoned back and they said it was about insurance ... but I m on the no marketing calls database I said. She hung up again.

The callers change the last digit or two and keep calling on different numbers. I block each number on turn.There is no message and no one says anything.
Noisy call centre background, woman's voice asked if was I Mrs (wife's name), I replied 'no' and asked who they were, at which point they hung up.
