They asked for a person that I don't know, and an address for the person which was not my address. I asked him to take the number off of their contact lists and he confirmed he would. Didn't try selling me anything.
Had a few text messages asking me to call these clowns and had my first call from this number minutes ago but about 2 months after my first message.. googled this number realized who it is an blocked them. I know I owe them nothing so definitely a scam!

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12073279xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
