A guy called Paddy rang asking for me by name saying I could get compensation for being ill on a all inclusive holiday,this was quite plausible as I was ill on holiday he went on to say they needed my nat insurance number and for me to email them a photo of my self so they could proceed with my claim, as if I would give that sort of info over phone, total scam

SCAM / SPAM Had a call from 01216487023 on May 18th 2020 Caller claimed to be from a visa company saying there had been 2 suspicious purchases totalling £1800. They didn't know my name , address or postcode. I told them i'd check my banking app as it shows transactions immediately. The caller said they won't show up , which is why they were calling. I said i'd check anyway. They hung up. Always check first

I purchased a phone with built-in call nuisance barring............. hah got over that hurdle people..... Seriously though if you're plagued do what I did..... peace perfect peace...... The number called from was not 839, the number was 849. the 849 number was not listed. The 849 number said they were the I. R. S.. "SCAM" Was the call from England or Ohio?
The operator told me his calling in connection to a motor car accident i had in the last 2 years, when i politly told him no I had no accident in that time period he rudely through the phone down in my ear.
They are total pests and the call is actually from abroad somewhere
