Any idea who is behind this (presumably untrustworthy) pesky number that s been calling me over 7 times a day (weekdays only) for the past four days now? I have never experienced such persistent nuisance - and am not tempted to pick up the phone to find out who it is I am confirming my number s existence to...
I received a text and phone call on my registered mobile and when I called the number i was doubtful regarding if it was trustworthy, so checked and called them back, they were able to confirm some recent overseas transactions which were correct and they unlocked my card.... I had not realised it had been locked, so full marks to HSBC
Silent call
Automated call with female voice for the 2nd time in 2 days. She claims to be from BT informing me of suspicious activity and that I risk disconnection (and I've had a few of these before from various other numbers). I'm not even with BT Internet, therefore it MUST be a SCAM!

A woman answered with a foreign accent ( most likely Indian sub continent as usual ) asked for me by name, as soon as I asked who was calling she hung up.
