Fraud - "Hi Dad my phone just broke. You can save thi one as my new phone number, text me back if you got this message."
Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO
Someone said I was eligible for a free Medical Alert Pendant. Scam call.

Claiming to be from an insurance comparison company. Scammer. Block and report . my location Leicestershire. James
A female claimed to be calling from O2.
Automated call. When called back it's an unrecognized number.
The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.
