I have just joined the RAC and have noted 7 calls this week from this number! What say we all report them to the Information commissioner as breaching the Feedom of Information Act (Data Protection Act is section 40, subsection 1 http://www.ico.org.uk/ And not renew!

This number called me saying there is a payment of £900 pending for online shopping, they wanted me to press 1 to report it as fraud. I don't trust this number so I put the phone down
Have received 21 calls from this number since 21 July (1 month ago). I can t be bothered to even answer it now. The name of the company they profess to be is usually either Microsoft or Windows Support. DON T TRUST THEM, IT S A SCAM.

Flagged as scam on Samsung so did not pick up. Have a business phone so would not expect personal life insurance call. Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.

When I started my business 18 months ago I had a call from 118, regarding my free listing . I went with it initially, but ended up calling them to take it down, as salesmen wouldn t stop calling and I even had a few just turn up at the premises! I had NO legitimate business come through 118, they didn t even list the business details correctly. I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! There is no point in reporting to the TPS or OFCOM these numbers that any scammer can buy. The telecoms company Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. Best is to get something like a Panasonic KX-TGJ420E. And leave a Google Maps review for the telecoms company.

An Indian person called claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse asking for an upgrade even tho I never signed up from them in the first place! Be careful from imposters as scammers from India will bounce their phone numbers to a UK number making you think it's a legitimate number.
