Offer to help claim back money from bank if services you don t need were bundled together in charges by your bank. Services in question were travel insurance, phone insurance and breakdown insurance, which I don t have, and been with my bank for 40 years, the caller said their service would not be relevant to me and they wouldn t call again. This was unprompted and they thanked me for my courtesy.
Been called by this number with international call three times 8.00 a.m. nnever pick up on these I judge them to be scams. They should be blocked.
The caller threatened me with a display and I should send money, so it does not come to that. He spoke very fast and very bad English, so I did not understand everything.
I too have just had exactly the same call as others from this Asian guy. I don t understand how these people can still be operating from the same telephone number without having been investigated and taken offline by the Police. Because no scam has actually taken place, Action Fraud don t want the detail, just to record the attempted fraud in their stats. Presumably some people are falling for this.

Said she was from the customer services department of a company that sounded like Glaxo-something, then asked about an accident I was apparently involved in. As soon as I said no she hung up abruptly.
