this number appeared on my virgin mobile bill not a number i have rang and isn't on calls made list on my phone! scam?
Fraud Someone called saying they were from HM Revenue and Customs claiming I owed taxes and if I didn't press 1 a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I pressed 1, just for the hell of it, and a person simply asked: "Hello, how may I help you?" I replied back: "what do you mean 'how can you help me?' you just phoned me!" and they got scared and hanged up.
BEWARE! Scammers porporting to represent Amazon Prime membership, subscription running out so ask for your bank details in order to renew. AVOID. Do not supply any information.
Automated call - HMRC Warning. Answered as looks like a normal mobile number

SCAM! - told me he worked for sky and my internet was insecure when I asked question got transferred no another male who told me the same thing and when I explained I worked for the fraud department of the police and how I appreciated how important the risk was he called me a bitch and hung up. (Not sure what upset him lol)

Not sure who or what they wanted,as my phone number is not used by me only for friends contact via WhatsApp...so I am assuming it's a scam or fraud..
I have been getting a lot of these calls lately and have ended up screening my calls, which is frustrating as I am looking for work at the moment and am missing out on agencies ...
