Trying to infiltrate my computer! Foreign (Asian, but not Indian) callcentre purportedly from BT, to help stop strangers using my Internet line. I said I don t have BT & was told BT is umbrella organisation through which Talk Talk, Virgin, PlusNet etc are providing my services. Told him I have passwords but he insisted that people have bypassed these. Kept saying: We will fix it now . First man I spoke to was reading from a script. Received this call on home telephone 3 times in the last week. Automated message states my internet is to be cut off within 28 days for unauthorised use and to select 1 on my keypad to be transferred to a manager/supervisor. Did not selst 1 but hung up and contacted my internet supplier (Virgin). Call taker had never heard of this before and said it must be a scam. Obtained the callers number by using the 1471 after I had hung up

called stating they work for PPI. Refusing to give their names and give dubious company names. Referred to TPS and ICO. Keep asking them to remove my details but they keep calling and hanging up.
Automated call. Says that your internet ip has been used for criminal purposes , asks you to hold the line to speak to a human , I just hung up, received the call on 29/7/19
