Called me by my maiden name from years ago and an incorrect postcode. When I told them this wasn t correct, he asked me to give him my new information, I asked why they needed it. He said it was for a survey on household brands . When I challenged him on why he needed my specific info and who was going to get it he became agitated and kept saying I ve already told you why and hung up.

The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. This caller hung up as soon as call was answered and it was answered quickly, it was maybe a wrong Number but I am always suspicious of calls that hang up as soon as they are answered, I certainly would not risk calling it back.
