They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. This did not work so i was told to visit www.ammyy.com. Here they did gain access and I sat back to watch the mouse pointer open and close multiple files etc. Much file info was Transfered and after sometime they phoned again to ask if the PC now worked faster,,,,Answer was, "NO". SCAM - Automated voice purporting to be BT telling me that I needed to contact them re an outstanding charge or I'd be disconnected from phone and internet. I haven't been with BT for months.
"Mary" called and very persistently tried to tell me there is a problem with my Windows computer. Didn t seem to put her off her stride that I don t have any Windows computers.
Claimed to be from Amazon Prime, almost certainly a scam but I never let them get any further, I just hung up.
Obviously a scam number - will now be blocked.

Keep getting calls from this number over several days and several times of the day. About oven cleaning and BBQ cleaning I just hang up. Have blocked this number on my handset now and reported them to ICO. Are registered with TPS but looks like they only deal with human people phoning you and actually talking to you type of calls.
