so far these scammers have phoned me 4 days in a row, 6 on day 1, 3 times day 2, twice yesterday and so far twice today.. When they actually do speak or you hear something.. its either a recording telling you your about to be disconnected from BT and press 1 to connect to bt.. premium rate number.. or you get a indian claiming to be from bt, or they just keep saying hello before putting the phone down.

There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.

SCAM Said they’re from carphone warehouse. Offered latest handset, unlimited calls & texts, incliding international plus 30gb internet for £40per month, said they would cancel my current contract for me transfer my number over and cover all cancellation fees. Got very aggressive/ insistent when I said I had sim only contract and intended to stay that way, suddenly offering the deal for £25 and demanding my card details immediately before I someone else took the offer instead.

Just had a text from the number 012685-578577 asking me to contact Claire regarding my account with T-Mobile.I thought it strange as why would they not email or ring me so it is interesting to see it is not directly from T-Mobile. I recently got a brill deal with T-Mobile for Broadband and a brill deal for my mobile with another company.Other than actually pay me to take their products I couldnt do any better than I have. I had a call from this number. Did not recognise it. On dialling 1471 I was informed "The person on extn 9268 is not available. Please leave a message..." Then "the inbox is unable to take any more messages as it is full". Have put it on choose to refuse now.
