It is a HMRC Tax scam telling recipients they are going to be the subject of legal action and a warrant has been issued for their arrest.
Claimed to be from Vigin Media said I had issues with my broadband speed and I would need to switch on my computer so he could access it remotely. When I told him I didn't have a computer he hung up.

SCAMMER, beware! This person posed as someone from HMRC about to take legal action in order to get you to pay them money.
SCAM / SPAM Electronic voice pretending to be from HMRC tells that you need to press 1 and pay a fee or else a warrant will be put out for your arrest. This has been in the news, look it up. Just Google "HMRC phone scam" HMRC will only contact you by written letter so just hang up. Pressing 1 will send you to a premium rate call line and/or will take your card details so just hang up and block number.
Telemarketing
Caller said that a large transaction had taken place on my credit card to an overseas company. Did not identify themselves nor ask who I was. MUST BE A SCAMMER
