The probability is that this is being initiated by morons with an overall IQ of zero. I have sorted my problem with Aknica by reporting them to the TV LICENCE people on 0300 790 6137, they put me directly through to them and they could not find me on their system? It seems they had got the wrong name my surname wrong christian name so took me off their system! 5 minutes later I got a call from the same number a local number and they where asking about a road traffic accident? Somehow they are putting a local dialling code onto your phone so you pick up ????

Harrased with SMS about PPI claims, brand new phone only activated three days ago with Vodafone. Not sure how they got our number unless Vodafone gave it out as I know these scam companies but mobile numbers for ?5 per number. Reported to ICO and TPS.

Has called me on my mobile sporadically for the past 4 months now. At first I tried to call it back and it just went straight through to on hold music. A voice said I would be connected to an agent as soon as possible, but I hung up after a minute or so. Checked my bill and it had charged me quite a bit to call back. Wouldn t trust.
