person rang stating they were the energy officer for the area I live in the midlands. the phone then went dead. checked number it is a scam - be on the alert.

This is a robotic, Cold Calling, PHISHING AGENCY. They were calling about the usual "you have had an accident, which was not your fault, in the last few years" format. The extra irritations of this call are the use of a local or adjacent telephone exchange STD code and a false telephone number and the use of a robotic interview to try to hook you up to their ambulance chasing scheme. Tell them to go away.
