SCAM - I answered as they had called a couple times. I did not speak and there was no-one at other end the even said hello - hung up without speaking and blocked them.
Indian scammers again! Robo message "Bank Security regarding 2 charges this morning, one to Amazon for 800 and one to an overseas transfer for 1100..." Pressing 2 got an indian man who got really shitty with mew and hung up when he said "Thankl you for calling..." and I told him he had called me.
A man called from this number claiming to be from AMEX. He was not from Amex. Amex claimed he is a fraudster.

Call received from a male with an Indian accent stating he was calling from Aviva, but his English was very bad and I said I couldn't understand him and asked for someone else to ring me if important. So far no response. There was a lot of chatter in the background and he didn't speak immediately when I answered the call.

Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!

Monday May 8 Call from this number stating they were ringing from microsoft. This was one of a series of 6 calls starting on Friday 5th that stated they were (or were probably connected )from microsoft ! Different numbers used for each call; no messages left on answerphone. Got a random text from it reading "Snapchat [code] passcode for phone enrolment Never share it" If it's a phishing scam it's a bit weak, I'm not even sure where I need to enter the code to get scammed (I'm guessing it's a hyperlink) Anyhow I know it's not legit because I don't even use Snapchat
I found this number on my 11 year old daughters phone and when I checked it out found that it belongs to a 40 year old man named Ali who met my daughter through Instagram and was trying to get her to meet up with him - reported to police who are now investigating and have arrested the individual for interview - he is VERY DANGEROUS beware

There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.
