REALLY HALIFAX. IGNORE THE PEOPLE SAYING THIS IS A SCAM THEY ARE 100% WRONG. Turns out my emergency credit card had a fraudulent payment on it. I’ve never used the card so Halifax must have leaked my details, which is highly worrying. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre, or scam. For sure some general call centre. In most cases they just provide silent calls to let you call them back. DON'T DO it, it will cost you a fortune. Did someone answer any number of this range or this particular one? I use the app from these pages to block whole ranges of similar numbers, works fine...
