"Isaac" of "Pearl Advice Services" re "accident". Said he was in Birmingham. When I challenged him on saying he was in Birmingham but the number is in Maidenhead, he hung up. On calling back, I got a "number not recognised" message. Clearly false. Now blocked it.

I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

Rang and asked about a car accident I had been involved in that was not my fault. When I said no and that they should not be calling me she asked me when I had the accident! I again said she should not be calling me and she put the phone down.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. They called early this eve for the third time this week. Caller said "I m calling cos you had an industrial accident luv " to which I replied " no I haven t.... Luv" Unsurprisingly they called again an hour later. I am also on TOS.

I started getting calls from this number saying that I was owed compensation for a car accident I had recently been in. I informed them I had never been in an accident so they asked me if a family member had been, and I said no and hung up. I ve had a few more calls saying the same thing, and each time I told them to f*** off and hung up. Now they call, don t say anything and then hang up, this happens at least once a week.

Cold callling. Strong Asian accent. Some kind of financial company pretending they ve legitimately obtained my number. I wasn t pleasant.

This was their second call. I had put their number in my phone to be blocked but they appear to have gotten around this block and the generic blocking of withheld numbers. I will send written complaint to the Bradford address as well as complaining to other regulators.
