Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.

Caller fraudulently advised he was from my bank, wanting my security details, which I declined to give. He advised he was cancelling my debit card, and could not send me a new one without those details, and that a fraudulent purchase had been made with my card. Like other reviewer, I had the same call today from a lady with a very strong accent and could not understand a word she was saying apart from hearing 02. Told her I wasn't with 02, she said you are, (I think). Put the phone down and blocked it. Does make me laugh when these spammers try to tell you, you have a product when you don't, do they really think we are that stupid!!
Rang today and left a message that a suspicious amount of £799 had been charged to our card attached to our Amazon account. Press 1 to respond. Didn't of course. Obviously a scam.
