SPAM received an unsolicited phone call at 8.58 on a Saturday morning, from what sounded like an Indian call centre. The caller claimed she was contacting me on behalf of Legal & General with regards to my washing machine. I explained I was on the TPS & clearly stated I wanted my phone number removed from their database & not called again. Call centre stating that I may be eligible for loft insulation / help with my heating bills under a new government scheme. Caller went on to ask if I was a home owner and if I worked full time or if I was entitled to any tax credits and whether my heating was mains fed or fuel. When I stated that my house was mains fed I was advised that I don't qualify. The call ended.
The female said she was phoning on behalf of Prestige insurance and was phoning from Hertfordshire.

SCAM - Text received: “HSBC: A new Payee request was created from an unrecognised device. You can Authorise or Cancel requests via: https://security.hsbc.unverified-payees.com/hsbc” Dodgy looking email address but even more dodgy as I don’t have HSBC account!
I have had 32 calls from this number in two days, despite me threatening to report them for harrassment they still continue to call, it s very stressful for me as i have a mental illness and i am getting very anxious about it
Fraud This has been confirmed by my bank as a phishing scam. An automated female voice told me that 600 pounds had been taken from my account from abroad! I HAVE BLOCKED IT!

This number when called back tells you that you have dialled an incorrect number. My opinion is by experience that it’s a spam number. Usually trying to sell something or get details from you for insurance or PPI claims. I have blocked now.
