I was texted out of the blue with this message: "Hi mum, I'm texting you from a friend's phone because mine got broken. Their phone is running out of battery. text/call me on my new number +447359548195". I believe it's a scam as no one I knew messaged me this.

SCAM pretending to be Amazon UK about a large value order. I hadn't placed one. Was followed by an email with the same. I went on account, asked Amazon to call me direct to check, was told it's a scam number and email. Reported to [email protected] . Never accept the call, always check with the company direct.
