Exactly the same as previous comment but it was Sean Johnston that called first and then when I expressed concern he asked if I would like to speak to a more senior person. He repeated word for word what Sean had said and wanted me to log in to a laptop. I cut the call and heard no more. I have concern that a more vulnerable person may be sucked into this so please spread the word.

02034760xxx - This seems to be range of numbers used by the same call centre or company (but it is more usual that call centre has some range of numbers dedicated for them) calling as non-profit org., mainly cancer research centre or similar. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with RSPCA (check them at http://www.rspca.org.uk/).
I just received a call from this number, the person on the line was very polite however the content of the call was very confusing. Apparently they were passed my information by the insurers of a third party who claimed to have bumped my car at some point in the last 3 yrs. i haven t had any accidents in the last 5 years, my car is fine and furthermore i changed my car 2 yrs ago and the address they were using is my old address. the call sounds very convincing but the information supplied is very v
