Silent calls are made once or twice daily. My answer-phone states "the caller has cleared", and normally the number is withheld, but not on this and a previous occasion. The pattern of the calls makes me think it is the same caller, [for many months]. The TPS advise it may be silent or abandoned calls,or recorded calls.

This number called today asking to speak to the business owner. I said they where busy she hung up. very rude!!

Just received a call from this number. Threatening action from HM revenue. Reported this to the HM revenue.

Mis-Selling claim company

had a missed call from this number, which phone showed as potential fraud, no idea who is calling.

Legit call from insulation people working for the council to set up an appointment, all above board.

Scammers. Do not give them access to your computer.

They wanted me to confirm my surname twice and hung up!

Had several missed calls from 01273 123456. Answered one call but no one there. Tried calling number but would not connect, they must be using false caller id.

Had a no obligation quote. Two weeks ago. In the past three days we have had over 20 phone calls. Today in the past 20 minutes we have had three. Very pushy Wish we never contacted them.

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

On answering call, I got no reply to my Hello I could hear people talking in what sounded like a call centre and hung up.

Yet another company that has somehow got my number and said i was involved in an accident. These scumbag companies should be banned, if i was in an accident, i would seek out a company to help, not wait for them to find me.
