Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

This number appeared on warning that a Trojan virus was on our computer. I phoned it and felt it was a "bad" number when owner answered. I have since had a dodgy phone call to my mobile.

Automated call, robot voice suggesting there is a £900 potential fraudulent payment going through via visa. Press 1 to report thi9s as fraud. I hung up and blocked. I dont have visa nor £900. Its a SCAM

I got a phone call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. (Indian call handler) They said my computer was compromised but I don’t own a computer so knew it was a scam. I kept talking to them to waste their time and then eventually told them I’d be reporting them to police. She tried to convince me still they were legitimate. Spam caller claiming to be from Vodafone (my mobile contract isn't with Vodafone), wanting my bank details so they could apply a discount to my contract. Very persistent - when I told them I didn't know my postcode they called back the following night. Even provided me with a (mobile!) number I could call to check that they really were Vodafone.

SCAM The guy knew my name but wanted to "verify" my address and I didn't want to do that threfore he snapped cursing me. Obviously I started cursing him back and he eventually hang up. BEWARE!

This number should be marked DANGEROUS. It is a man replying to adverts on Internet and advertising "rent for sex" scam targeting vulnerable young women. Do NOT engage with this man.

Saying they are from bank security saying that people have tried to access account and press 1 or 2 but I hung up and checked with bank and this is not true and must be a scam
