I received an automated call from this number saying it was Amazon Prime and that they would take money from my account for renewal unless I cancelled.
Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. I soon realised that they were just responding to my application regarding an air source heat pump and solar pv panels on either Facebook or Instagram. They are actually a very friendly and knowledgeable company.
Claimed to be Carphone Warehouse. Sounded more like an Indian call centre to me.
Rang at 13.40 on a weekday - only been at this address 6 months and get more nuisance calls than genuine ones. Thanks to this site I now flag them up as such on the handset so I don t answer them, and gradually they stop trying.
UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message).
