Text came in, saying it was Nat west on a mobile number. Yeah right, I’m not dumb. To not answer this text it’s a scam

Supposedly Bank Security, recorded message about 2 suspicious transactions, £300 on Amazon & £1100 for international money transfer. Usual format press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to someone. Sick of these scammers!

I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. I believe this is a scam representation of a Revolut app issue.

Just got a phone call from this number at 10:24am, 26/4/2023 stating that there has been 2 "international transactions" over £700 this morning. Don't believe it one bit considering its from an EE provided phone number. It then says to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I didn't press anything and just left it then it hung up.

Said from Barclays asking for our MD. Gave this number with option 1 and requested a return call from him.... urgently !

Received txt from 01908 238013 asking me to call 03308 084 562 with a reference No., saying I'd set up a payment for Mrs C Davidson £850 scheduled for today 20/02/2022 @ 19:15. An automated female voice, purporting to be from Amazon, said I had ordered an iPhone and should press 2 if I wanted to talk to someone.

Caller with Indian accent said he was from Amazon and was calling about a purchase my wife had supposedly made for an Iphone 11, he said his name was Daniel Smith when I asked. If this number is an O2 number , I suggest that O2 pass on the details of the holder of that sim card to Amazon or the police...

SCAM Recorded message from this number claiming to be Visa and talking about unauthorised charges to my credit card. Absolute nonsense and obviously a scam call phishing for a reaction. Seems highly unlikely Visa would be calling me from a local area number. Do not respond. If you're at all concerned check with your bank.
