Call from this number, but put the phone down when I answered. Did not ring back but suspect it is similar to some of the other comments against 01340 numbers

Ditto, aggresive accident compensation caller. Wouldn t answer any questions , insisted on me answering questions about alleged past accident. I hung up.

well, so far today, this number has rung me 9 times! I have had my phone on silent, which is just as well, cos I have been sleeping! I just now want to know whether to just add them to my ignore list or not!

Called and hung up... so very likely a cost-trap scam.

After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.

Just received a call from these chimps at 12.08 pm lunchtime, it even had a picture of the person calling, what a nerve. I use Mr. Number and True Contact on my mobile, the best 2 apps that I ve installed on my mobile, they warn you that it s a spam number calling and if possible, the name, whereabouts and if possible, the nature of the call and if it s suspected spam, it will cut them off. Saves me giving them a few choice words too.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. likes others have said, they call several times a week and hang up if you ever answer. I got a "free" warranty from them when I brought a second hand car, now I m guessing they are trying to get me to extend this warranty as it s about to run out.

On the 3rd attempt I gave in and answered this crazy caller and when I did all I heard was "you have been called by the Pension Report Service, we will call you back." and hung up - how is that? I am reporting you for bringing on my senior years prematurely with this madness.

Called at 01.03am number said Kent.. I live in Scotland and have never been in Kent in my life. Rejected without answering, apparantly its Kent Police but tthey say NOT.
