Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc
It is supposed to be a message from the government offering me a £400 extra rebate.

Automated call claiming to be from a bank fraud department with suspicious activity on a card for transactions of hundreds of pounds. No bank name was mentioned and it asked to either authorise payments or choose to speak to someone. When no choice was pressed immediately the call was ended.
I received a random unsolicited message on WhatsApp from this number. It is a business account. The message was "Hello, how are you doing today? I have reported and blocked this number.

I have my phone on a do not call list with the government if I’ve not signed up for it yet you still call me… you’re lucky I don’t report your little gang to the police. The call was made to my landline, Telling me that there had been two payments made on my account £300 to Amazon and one other, which wasn't true cos I immediately checked with my phone Bank app and didn't listen to rest of call I just hung up.

Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft.
