Was an Asian guy for me, claiming to be from BT Tech Dept. When i suggested he gets a proper job and stop trying to scam ppl, he suggested I go forth and multiply (in a cruder use of words). Number now blocked.

Missed a call from them on BOTH my phones. Attempted to call back incase it was network provider office calling and it connects whilst ringing. So effectively we getting charged god knows how much if calling back. DONT CALL BACK!!

Was called today from this no. An Asian sounding chap introduced himself as Robin Waterman from B.T. and told me my broadband would be closed down for 10 days. When I asked him for the no. he was calling from he gave me a different no. to the one on my caller display. This number just rang my phone, I said hello, they then hung up on me. Agreed with Adam that they want you to phone them back. Found out that it is a charge of 45p-62p per minute to ring back. Also found out it is an individual not a company hoping you will phone him/her back and in doing so they will make him/herself a nice monthly income at your expense.

When I answered - a recorded voice said 'goodbye'! Really useful NOT!

A company called "Census data" calling to Phish for info. Seems strange that I started getting this call after registering to vote at my new address using the online service
