Spoke with very bad English, but with very English name. Said he was from Sky. I hang up.

Just had a call from this number saying they were from National Accident Line. Definite scam. They were asking about an accident I had a few months ago and that I was due compensation. I strung them along. "Glad you called, I went through all the details with your colleagues weeks ago. They said I was due £8k in compensation'. 'Sir this is the 1st time I've called you.' What an insistence, it turns out to be boring.
This phone number is a scam. But sounds very convincing as it is a well spoken English person. I fear that trusting elderly people WOULD fall for this scam. They pretended to be Domestic & General wanting me to take out further policies. BLOCK this phone number, as I did....
Fraud recording only. claiming that you have a pending case from HMRC and are investigating your financial activity. It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers.
