Even though it is a message from a local number, this appears to be a banking scam -

It rang twice in less than a minute but as soon as I try to answer, the call dies.
Number is not known to me, so I leave it to go to voicemail. The message left is a musical tone. Likely a spam call
Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

Call center The guys represent themselves as being from the 3 promotions team. Although the number is a London number it would appear it is redirected from a foreign country as the language was not great and any question I asked was answered with a repeated line stating the deal they were offering and not actually answering my question. Received a call from bank security team (doesn't happen) alleging fraudulent card use. Nothing showing in my online banking. FURTHERMORE At no point on the recorded call did the give my banks name. BEWARE
someone rang my mobile from 07776 458280 and when i answered there was silence - no one spoke. I did not recognise the number as it was not in my contacts!

Appears to be a phishing scam. I got an ebay order confirmation for an item I did not order. This number was given for reporting fraudulent purchses. t sounds like an Indian caallcentre, and they attemted to get me to download Anydesk, in order to access my computer!!

SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. Received txt from 01908 238013 asking me to call 03308 084 562 with a reference No., saying I'd set up a payment for Mrs C Davidson £850 scheduled for today 20/02/2022 @ 19:15. Txt came in @ 16:07 Info from- http://www.call-charges.co.uk/03308-premium-rate-phone-numbers#one Calls from landlines are typically charged between 2p and 10p per minute; calls from mobiles typically cost between 10p and 40p per minute, but they can set the rate at whatever they like. Just delete it. Don't call them back!

Fraud recorded voice telling me that I have unusual payments in my account "that I have never got before".
Lloyds Bank Fraud Team phoned me from this number in a recorded voice. It this a genuine Lloyds number? They have a different number on the back of their debit cards.

Alledgedly from Currys & 3 Network phones. Seems dodgy.
Left a message on my answer phone which was difficult to understand but appeared to be about an address for parcel delivery. They never said who they were or asked if I was the person they were trying to contact and further investigation showed that calls to this number cost 16p a minute from a landline plus a setup fee of 23p.
