The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. This is a local telephone number for the area I live but was a scam automated call purporting to be from Amazon saying my Amazon Prime has expired and they have withdrawn £95 from my bank for another year's contribution. I don't use Amazon and nothing has been withdrawn from my bank. The caller asked me to press a key on my phone for further information which I did not do. I have not tried to ring the caller's number in case it connects me to a premium line.
