Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

Automated A Very annoying automated call. They call on average 4 times day. Starting at 9am. Never leave a message, never say who they are. I called them back using this number and an automated message says this telephone number has been discontinued as it has been reported as fraud.
Scam call. Pretending to be my banks fraud department. Had my name, address and were trying to get a code to purchase items from argos. Then preceded to harass me with multiple phone calls after I called them out for being fake.

Beware. Asian sounding lady claimed to be storing my will and wanted to go through and check for updates. They knew my name and postcode. I hung up and went to our solicitor who said wills are held in their own store and they know nothing about any cold calls.

03726945413 Claiming to be from SKY asking if We’d shared our router information with anyone else (as we use NOW TV which is part of SKY I listened) and then they asked me how many lights were flashing on my router ( there was one light flashing and this made me suspicious so I hung up). It may be nothing but better to be safe.
I was called by this number today, the automated message told me my amazon prime account had expired and that my credit card would be charged £95 pounds for renewal, if I was unhappy about this, press 1. Sadly for them, (lucky for me) I don't have an amazon prime account, hung up imediately. SPAM - called and left no message! If any call in my opinion is legitimate, a voicemail message should be left giving the recipient a chance to return the communication after careful consideration! Normally if the caller is reluctant to leave voicemail it’s because they are trying to extract info out of you via questionable means without any recourse. If that’s not the case then surly a voicemail with their info would be reasonable would it not ?
