I did not respond, but checked the dialling code and found that it did not exist. Clearly a scammer.
Said they were from my bank (did not name bank) stating they have blocked a transaction of £600 from western union. Asked me to click a button so I hung up! Dangerous bank scam !!!

When i questioned him about it he could only give my name nothing else. I then saod citizens advice now call random calls he then said he works for citizens governments advice. Probably a scam. Indian young male trying to present as being from a company I did not understand as pronounced by him. He became annoyed and started using a nasty tone and nasty words. Realising has no chances, he hung up the phone and, probably moved to another "customer".

This number came up on a pop up box when trying to install a new version of Microsoft Office on a Mac. It said you needed to ring the number for help or you would lose the product. This is not the case and this company has no affiliation with Microsoft. It is a scam to get your credit card info and gain access to your computer. Run a separate Google search and ring Microsoft’s real helpline number if this happens to you. If you’ve already given them access to your computer ring Action Fraud.
