A phishing call, the caller had a little information, but was phishing for more. I ve been informed that limited accident is publihed on a database by insurers. I Presume they are phishing in order to action a claim. Personally I beleive these people are leeches, feeding off, and promoting the greed is good culture. The caller will tell you that he is trying to help you, he isn t - he s helping himself. Any positive response is like catnip to these people, even if you tell them you are not interested

Rings, doesn t answer. if you call their number they then say they are calling back. Time wasters.

I had a number of missed calls from this unrecognised number and, because of the recent talk talk hacking incident, I decided to try and find out who it was from instead of calling back. The other comments here seem to suggest it s a marketing cold call so I ll just block the number from future calls.

Unwanted speculative sales call from PPI claims company

I couldn t pick up, they didn t leave a message. Doubt it s legit.

Said they were from disputes at HSBC. Pronounced my name wrong & asked for my date of birth for security purposes. When I refused to give this over the phone they said that I would receive a letter & I must respond to this then hung up. No pleasantries.
