Debt collector, I think this is a check up call from Oxford TV licencing Enforcement Division to check if someone aged over 75 and still forced to buy a licence is still alive, The caller asks for you by name and when you say yes they make some excuse about not being able to hear properly saying they will call back later.

Scammer, claiming non existant card use

Call this morning - automated message claimimg to be from Bank Security reporting 2 large payments from my bank account - no mention of my name or which bank. Obviously a scam, asked to press a number on the keypad to speak to someone.

Automated call SCAM . Left voicemail threatening legal action but I don't know what it's about, Decidednot to press 1! Quite scary for a pensioner living alone.

I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.

Claims to be from Santander, definitely isn't. Just ignore. Apparently they wanted to check some activity on my card, which was interesting as I don't bank with Santander.

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. Immediately suspected a scam, pressed to speak to an adviser and decided once more to play along. Male with foreign accent, as usual acting as if I had called in. I have blocked this number but the company still somehow manages to leave voicemails every few days They never address me by my name and if they name the company I supposedly owe money to its an incomprehensible mumble quite possible as most of their messages are incomprehensible mumbling Scam or phishing

My second call this morning from an 01257 number - different ones - both claiming to be a banking service who have detected suspicious activity on my account. They are both automated messages with the same female voice and both claim withdrawals from my (unspecified) account from the same places (Amazon and overseas) but quote different amounts. 01257 is my local dial code, which I suspect is meant to lend credibility to the call. It asked to preess 1 to delete or 2 to connect to an operative. I hung up

Automated call telling me I have done something and I will get prosecuted for no action. They are scare mongering and asking me to press 1 to speak to their team. I think this is a scam call.

Try’s to tell you there’s a CCJ against you for unpaid fees to an advertising company (community council advertising working in connection with National crime prevention) recons bailiffs will be attending at 9am. He can stop it if we make a part payment! Didn’t like it when we fired back with lots of legal jargon (read from internet ????). Do NOT fall for it!! Please report
