Automated voice claiming to be from inland revenue (not HMRC). Obviously a scam call, now blocked.

Just taken a call from a girl to my company saying she was from the energy care centre offering me £2000 towards new doors and windows. I clearly answered with my company name and she ignored this and carried on - so I had some fun with her saying I didn t have any doors or windows - she then said - do I have a brain and put the phone down. It s an unknown number that keeps calling but when you press 5 you get through to someone identifying themselves as being from The Money Team. This time the guy was George. I told him what he was doing was illegal..he just laughed and hung up. Now my question is this... Money Team has been doing this for a long time, and have been reported numerous times. These calls have gone silent now but I know it is a Telemarketer on behalf of CR Smith. Lost track of the number of times I have told them all our windows/doors are done and I don t want a conservatory as we have an extension.Also told them they should not be calling as registered with TPS but makes no difference.

They are insurance underwriters - genuine company calling in response to a claim.
