Caller claimed to be from "my network" - his accent was difficult to understand, so I failed to hear what the network was. I terminated the call and blocked the number. Clearly a scam!

NHS This is new number for my GP at St George's MC
Claiming to be Hammersmith police station over bank card fraud, check lots of bank acc details, then say when the call is finished a dialling tone sounds and to dial one's bank customer advice. This takes you through to another fraudster claiming to be your bank who takes more details then says they are transferring you to the serious fraud office. Got a call from this number this morning. Silent call. I suspect scammers may be impersonating this number. The number is legit, it's a genuine company, but it could be scammers are spoofing their real number and stealing their number to look like this one instead.

Lady called in and claimed to be Anna from Amazon webservices. She asked to get contact data from one of my colleagues (who doesn't have Amazon as customer) to schedule a meeting with her boss. As we are located in Germany and my colleague doesn't have business in UK or with Amazon as customer I asked about the topic of this meeting. She claimed to not know that. Didn't give her mail address either. I guess her to call from a headhunter agency in disguise

Please do the right think and hang up.... alternatively tell them that you the police and you have their exact location via trace.... make them feel as sick as my poor friend does at the minute
I keep receiving messages in quick succession on my landline answer machine (8 this morning so far). They are clear until the company name is stated, when it becomes muffled. Having looked at the reviews, the calls seem to come from Talk Talk (can hear it is a busy call centre in the background), but I am with BT and have never had any dealings with Talk Talk!
